<div>As many of you may recall, I survived a brutal attack by my ex-spouse in 2022 that resulted in a two-week hospitalization. My injuries included a broken acetabulum, a fractured pelvis, a ruptured meniscus, and impinged nerves in my neck. It has been an arduous journey to recover physically, emotionally, and financially after being confined to a wheelchair and my home for a year.

<div>While my ex-spouse was convicted and I have a permanent restraining order, the physical damage remains. My injuries are permanent and require additional surgeries, as well as ongoing occupational and physical therapy. What was initially estimated as a six-month rehabilitation has turned into a lifelong challenge.

<div>I am currently working through the years-long SSDI application process, but my case remains pending. In the meantime, I am seeking community support to help cover accumulating medical equipment costs and daily living expenses. My goal is simply to remain safe and solvent as I continue this recovery.
