Support for Joshilyn

Hi there, I'm Joshilyn.  I love to make videos about music.  A lot of them are about how the Beach Boys made records, but I do other videos too.  Recently, my computer started to fail.  I couldn't really record music or video very well any more.  This was very sad for me because I really like to make videos for people to enjoy.  I started this fundraiser to be able to afford a new laptop that can handle recording and video stuff, so I can keep making videos.  To record digital audio without issues, you need a computer with plenty of memory and a good processor, which is why I'm asked for a little more help than I'd need if I just needed a computer for internet or office productivity.

Thanks to incredible generosity here, I was able to get the computer and start releasing videos again!  I am so grateful, humbled, in disbelief, and happy this happened!


It really meant a lot to me because music is a special joy for me in what is otherwise a tough situation.  And now, I am leaving this page up because I could still use some help covering lingering costs associated with the recording set-up and music stuff.  I lost my job because of the Covid-19 deal, and live in one of the most expensive cities in the world.  I can't afford to keep production values "high" and to keep the research and creation happening without some help from friends like you.

I would be so grateful for any help.  And if you have enjoyed my videos, you will know how unique and interesting they are, despite the homespun quality.  I had lots of great videos planned for the future and would be so overjoyed to bring them to you.  Please help; it would make such a huge difference in my life, and, I hope, in other people's lives too.  Thank you so much.
