Record Gynosphinx’s debut album and soundtrack to Pesticide

*Any and all donations will get your name on the album*
Gynosphinx is a Wolverhampton based metal band, looking for £200 pounds (+ £10 for additional expense) to buy us 8 hours in the studio to record our debut album, which will double as soundtrack to the movie project Pesticide, a short zombie film set in Wolverhampton which we hope to have shot by the end of 2025, and which will also act as footage for music videos to the songs.
The album will include a variety of genres, including the organ backed, heavy distortion power metal the band is known for (in our flagship song ‘Meet, Kill, Murder’) which we are very excited to fully realise, some pop punk entrees (in our songs ‘Don’t leave’ and ‘The Happy Song’), as well as some blues and softer ballads (+ more), as to act as a full soundtrack to the movie.
The movie is based on a novel being written by the same name by the lead of the band Tristan, and has been as of yet story boarded to the bands demo’s which we intend to fully realise with these 8 hours in the studio.
The album will be released, mixed and mastered by the midpoint of the new year (but hopefully as early as the end of January) if funding is met and all goes according to plan, and is looking to be an hour long.
At the very least, you are funding a sick ass album, and helping get a local band into the studio. I’ve made a compilation of some of the bits of the demos and linked it above to showcase whats up with the album.
