I worked at a school in the Leeds area for several years and when I left the school, I took them to a tribunal in which the school claimed I did 8 days work for a third party which is untrue and subsequently lost all holiday pay.
The court case was thrown out because I put the claim in two weeks too late but that wasn't the main reason for the claim. Amongst many things, my son was stabbed and the school made false accusation about us, the parents, being present in meetings which we weren't.
This is the beginning of the story my lovely people.
If you can find it in your hearts to even donate 1 p then this will ho towards my two lovely children and this will let them know that there are people out there that do care.
The basics of this story goes.
1. I emailed the school requesting my holiday and they replied with "They've sent the request of to the Local Council and it was strange that it hadn't been processed, they will chase this up" because that is who I worked for.
2. A second email of the same nature sent a month later with the same response.
3. A third email sent a month later and the reply was "That I had worked an X number of days of for a third party and that I owed 1 day holiday pay that they would waver" Untrue.
Subsequent emails were sent backwards and forwards where I repeatedly state that the so called work I did for a third party was completely untrue. The number of days worked went from 3 to 5 then to 8.
It also also worth noting that during this fiscade that the original personal that I emailed had her email address changed so she would not receive my emails and after getting an email bounce back I subsequently email the headmaster replied stating "That they would look into this "and lo and behold, I get an email from the original lady with a new email address.
Now, at this point the local council get involved and I started to receive emails from a so called dude who has no care about this lie in the world whatsoever and that I had done 3 days work for a third party, then it went to 5 days and then 8 days all of which is untrue and that I would not receive my entitled holiday pay.
So I commenced tribunal case against the case and it took months to come through and when we eventually ended in court, the judge iterated that everything was time based and because I had put my case in two weeks too late then it was to be thrown out.
Incidentally, the school that I worked for payed the local council for this so called high up chap to send me emails insisting that I had done 3 then 5 then 8 days work for for a third party.
Before the tribunal hearing commenced, I did get a copy of all documentation from the school and the last email in the document is from someone at school who was involved in the email trail asking "Have they actually checked if I did the work for a third party" and that's the end.

Oh, before I forgot. I have my holiday card for the school in safe storage and it has never been signed by the school or by anyone at the local council approving my time off to work for a third party but even more, there is no evidence in my bank account that I have been payed for said works.
