Hi my name is Bożena, I have been working in nursing as a nursing assistant for 20 years on palliative unit with patients mostly with cancer giving them comfort, love, compassion, companionship and being there for them holding their hand as they depart this world. Now I am myself in this situation. Just recently (Oct. 27)I have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 3 started my first chemotherapy today Jan. 15/25 not sure if i qualify for surgery, since the cancer is close to my artery. It’s all too much to deal with by myself, I am also taking care of my elderly mother 83 years old with walking disability living with me at home. I need your kind support just to deal with daily expenses and payments. I don’t want to lose my home and my necessities to live rest of my days , to pay for medication, transport to my cancer institute, car payments, monthly bill, food, housing. Please i ask you for your support to aid me in this stressful unknown process of what will be, will I get the chance to ring that bell at my cancer institute.
