<div>I’m a recent first-generation, low-income graduate from Harvard, and cycling has been a lifelong passion of mine. As a reward for finishing my degree, I saved up and purchased an Aventon Aventure 2 Step-Through Electric Bike, something I’d dreamed of for years. I invested around $2,000 into the bike and various modifications like AirTags, mirrors, and other essential accessories.

<div>Unfortunately, on August 16th, my bike and locks were stolen in Allston. This wasn’t just a financial loss, it was deeply personal. I’ve experienced multiple thefts in the past, and this incident brought up a lot of difficult memories and feelings of insecurity. The loss is equivalent to about a month’s rent in Allston, which has been extremely hard to absorb, especially as I’m currently unemployed and actively looking for full-time work.

<div>I’m asking for your support to help me replace the stolen bike. It was my main form of transportation for job hunting, commuting, and working on community projects. It also brought me joy and freedom in the city.
