<div><strong><em>Recao</em></strong> es una historia corta íntima que explora el amor incondicional entre Anna y su abuelo Exio, así como las costumbres de nuestra isla y el profundo impacto de la nostalgia por lo perdido, tanto a nivel individual como colectivo.

<li><strong>Sinopsis:</strong> Anna crece aprendiendo a preparar sofrito junto a su abuelo Exio en su casa en Villa Palmeras, Santurce. Años después, Anna enfrenta la doble pérdida de su abuelo y de su hogar tras el forzoso desplazamiento de su comunidad. Con un racimo de recao en mano, la nieta se despide del hogar que junto a su abuelo construyó por tantos años, llevando consigo la memoria y la tradición que los unía.

<div>Este cortometraje fue seleccionado como uno de los seis proyectos que competirán en la 16.ª edición de <strong>Cortadito</strong>, una prestigiosa competencia de cortometrajes puertorriqueños organizada por la Alianza Francesa de Puerto Rico, en el marco del <strong>Festival de Cine Europeo de Puerto Rico</strong>.

<div>Nuestro mayor objetivo es posicionar a Puerto Rico dentro de la industria cinematográfica trazando una ruta que visibilice y celebre el talento que hay en nuestra isla ante el mundo. Para lograrlo, su apoyo es indispensable. Por ello, nos encantaría que se una al equipo de <strong><em>Recao</em></strong> y celebre, junto a nosotras, la cultura del cine puertorriqueño, una de las expresiones artísticas con mayor auge en Puerto Rico.

<div>Actualmente, nos encontramos en la fase de pre-producción del proyecto, con planes de rodar durante el mes de junio. Por tal razón, su colaboración sería un gran impulso para poner en marcha esta pieza. Con su apoyo, puede asegurar que hayan más oportunidades de crear historias que pronuncien los más preciosos anhelos de nuestro corazón como puertorriqueñxs y que el arte cinematográfico de nuestra isla se reconozca a nivel internacional.
