I am Mike McClatchie, my brothers Robert's home burned down in the Bobcat fire. When Robert came home from work it was too late. The fire crossed the valley and came up the other side so fast and so hot the he only had time to get his dogs, and unfortunately his other animals perished, since they were on the other side of the yard and it was too hot to get there. He invested his entire inheritance from his mom. We worked for 2 years to get this home livable. We ran out of money and were barely able to buy the solar from Wholesale Solar with Robert installing it himself and with all of us pitching in to help. Unfortunately he did not have fire insurance, and it was a total loss. We are shooting for help to rebuild all the way back with water and solar so it is livable for him again if possible.
We are making a plan to:
1. Clean the ruble with a tractor and dumpsters. Est $2500.
2. Hook up a trailer or something to the existing pluming for him while rebuilding. Est. $250.
3. New windows and doors. Est. $2000.
4. Wood Framing and Cross Beams Est $8500.
5. Stucco. Est $3500.
6. Pluming. Est $2500.
7.Electrical and panel Est $1500.
8. Drywall and interior facilities. $3500
9. Wood stove for heat Est. $2500
and all of the details that I have overlooked.
The 5k water barrel with pump and pressure bladder and electrical tied to the cabin was $15k before, and i feel it will be about that to do it right again.
12k for the Solar because he is off the grid, if Robert installs it himself again.
We could use funds right away to start the clean up process for now.
Thank You!
