Help Rebuild the Road to Fond Blanc

In September Hurricane Irma, one of the strongest storms in recorded history, crashed through the Caribbean and the Eastern Coast of the United States. While Haiti was largely spared, the only road to Fond Blanc was destroyed when torrential rains turned a normally gentle river into a powerful monster.

At the moment, the road is only passable by donkey, motorcycle or foot — no vehicles can pass. In short, Fond Blanc and the Orphanage is largely cut off from the rest of Haiti. Delivering food and providing education is now a huge challenge. All building projects have been stopped indefinitely. In short, all the progress we’ve made over the past 5 years is now in jeopardy.

The only solution — we need to rebuild the road to Fond Blanc. It’s not going to be easy or cheap. Rebuilding the road will cost $91,426.
