Rebuilding Mobjap
Donation protected
Dear friends,
For the past four years my family and I have been involved with Crossing Thresholds, an organization that builds schools in the Kibera Slum. The Kibera Slum is in Nairobi, Kenya and is the biggest slum in Africa, housing over one million people on land the size of central park. On December 17 Mobjap, one of the schools built by CT, burned down. I have visited the schools 3 times, helping everywhere I can, and getting to know all the kids. Thankfully no one was hurt from the fire, but the school and many of the kid's houses are gone. These kids have nowhere to go during the day. This school was their one place where they were happy, fed and safe. I am trying to raise money so we can help them rebuild as quickly as possible. Every little bit helps.
