Rebuilding Wynn Nail Spa in Hollywood

It is with a heavy heart that we share news of a harrowing setback to our plans to re-open our nail salon. Our store at Sunset & Vine in Hollywood fell victim to looting and was vandalized and stripped of all its valuables. We are asking for your support to rebuild so that we can serve our loyal customers again.
We have lost all of our nail polish, masks, and gloves as well as our iPads, sound system, cash register and the plexiglass dividers that were meant to protect our customers when they returned. Although the physical damage was limited to the window and fixtures, the bill to fix and replace the broken shelvings, the retaining wall with the built-in wiring for the iPads, the ATM and the restroom doors is adding up. We are grateful that nobody was hurt, but overwhelmed by the unexpected expenses and tight timetable.
Ever since we opened our Hollywood store in 2013, we have been a part of a vibrant, socially-conscious business community. We have supported fundraisers for local charities, elementary school PTAs and high school dance teams. And, for the last three years, we have been a sponsor for Hollywood's annual music and food festivals. Now, we are the one that needs help.
While we have been approved for PPP funds, they can only be used for payroll and rent. For customers and employees to have something to come back to, we need to repair the damage to our store and re-stock our inventory — and to do so quickly. After talking to our contractor, we were told to budget $15K for repairs and $20K to replace our supplies and equipment.
We realize that there are many people and projects that are in need right now. Funds and resources are stretched thin to help the unemployed and frontline workers. So any contribution that you can make will be much appreciated. We look forward to re-opening and giving back to the community. We love you, Hollywood!
