Renovating Vergennes Skatepark

Over the years Vergennes skatepark has been used and abused and is in need of renovations. The skatepark committee has worked to get approval for grants that will allow us to repave the park and build a mini ramp. All of your donations are going toward said grant that the city will then match. We want to raise more money. The more money, the more we can do. The skatepark has just gotten a facelift from an Abercrombie and Fitch work crew, thanks to their hard work new vibrant colors can be seen at the park, but this is just the start. The specifics of these renovation plans are in the works and are scheduled for this upcoming spring. These bigger plans include fully repaving the park and an installation of a mini ramp. We want to make this skatepark a place for the community to recreate. Executing this project and revamping the park will be great not only for the skating community but also for the upcoming generations. We want everyone to feel more comfortable learning and practicing. Skating is a way to better ourselves as humans, it’s important to give our community the chance to express what they enjoy.
