I'm raising funds for The Royal Womb after my work van was stolen this week. Thankfully, the van was recovered, but when I got it back, everything I use to work markets and serve my community was gone. After I contacted the insurance company, the van was automatically flagged as a total loss because of its year, mileage, and damage. I chose to keep the van and pay for the towing and repairs out of pocket so I could get back to work as quickly as possible.

This hit immediately because the van was fully loaded for a major work weekend. I was scheduled for the City of Palmdale Pumpkin Patch, the Tehachapi Apple Festival, and Haggin Oaks Farmers Market. The Royal Womb has two sides to the work I bring into the community: herbal wellness products like loose herbs, herbal teas, sea moss, and a refill station with clean household products, as well as clean Caribbean-inspired food for festivals and events.

When the van was taken, so was the setup I needed to do both sides of my business. I lost supplies, inventory, canopies, a generator, herbs, herbal tea supplies, umbrellas, signs, storage, a warmer, a grill, a fryer, and other market equipment. The herbs and herbal teas are what hurt the most. Those were not just products sitting in containers. They took months to source, blend, prepare, and build with care and intention.

The funds from this fundraiser will help me replace the urgent work items I need to vend again, restock my herbs and teas, repair the van, and return to serving my community. If you're able to give or share this fundraiser, your support would help me rebuild The Royal Womb and get back to the work I love.
