my name is Paulina, and I’m fundraising to help my father rebuild his life after his home was destroyed in the September floods in Poland. At 78, he’d created a lifetime of memories there, but the disaster left his home beyond repair. Now, he needs a complete renovation from scratch.

The flood didn’t just take away his home—it also left him with lasting trauma, which has worsened his health significantly. Shortly after the flood, he was hospitalized, and doctors confirmed that his Parkinson’s symptoms had progressed, making even simple tasks a daily struggle. Though he’s recently returned from the hospital, he faces a long road to recovery and needs support to regain his independence.

I’m reaching out to help him restore his life, from rebuilding his home to supporting his rehabilitation and providing the in-home care he needs. With every contribution, we can bring him closer to having a safe, comfortable space where he can heal and find peace again.
