<div>On January 8, 2025, I learned that my dear friend of over 31 years, Gabriel De Cunto, lost his home to the devastating Los Angeles fires. Thankfully, no one was home, and everyone is safe. While the loss of his home is heartbreaking, what truly stands out is Gabriel’s incredible strength and unwavering positivity in the face of such an unimaginable tragedy.

<div>Gabriel is more than just a talented artist; he’s a cornerstone of our community. With over three decades of experience as a highly sought-after professional in the makeup and special effects industry, he’s dedicated his career to creating unforgettable works of art. But his greatest achievements aren’t found on screen—they’re in the relationships he’s built. Gabriel is a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and one of the kindest, most selfless souls you could ever meet.

<div>For years, he’s been a guiding light to many, including me. When I first arrived in Los Angeles as an 18-year-old intern, Gabriel took me under his wing. He became my mentor, my big brother, and a constant source of support, teaching me not only about the industry but about the importance of compassion and excellence in everything we do.

<div>Recently, Gabriel had just started regaining his footing after the long and painful writers’ and actors’ strikes, which left him out of work for over a year. Now, he’s facing another monumental challenge as he begins to rebuild his life from the ground up. Everything he owned is gone, yet his spirit remains unshaken.

<div>This GoFundMe campaign is about giving back to someone who has given so much to others. The funds raised will help Gabriel take the first steps toward rebuilding his life.

<div>Whether you know him as a brilliant artist, a loving family man, or simply as someone whose kindness touched your life, Gabriel needs our support. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you’re unable to contribute, please share this campaign to help spread the word.

<div>Let’s come together to show Gabriel the same generosity and love he’s always shown us. Thank you for standing by him during this challenging time.
