<div>As the Regional Clinical Psychologist for the Southern Regional Health Authority, Amanda has had the privilege of serving the community in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Through Acts of Grace, her non-profit organization, she has seen firsthand the devastating impact of disasters on families and communities. That’s why, together, we’re launching a new initiative to build back communities, one home at a time.

<div><strong>What Acts of Grace Has Done So Far</strong>

<div>In St. Elizabeth, Acts of Grace has already played a vital role in disaster response and recovery:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Distributed over 1,500 relief packages with food, clothing, and hygiene items
</li>
<li>Collected and donated clothing to families affected by disasters
</li>
<li>Provided bleach and water purification supplies to secure safe drinking water
</li>
<li>Offered counselling services to individuals and families coping with trauma and loss
</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>The New Housing Initiative</strong>

<div>Our next step is to move from short-term relief to long-term stability.

<div>We are seeking donations to purchase two premade houses for single mothers and their children who are in urgent need of safe, secure housing. One of the families we are supporting lives in Slipe, St. Elizabeth, and has been identified by Acts of Grace as a priority case.

</li>
<li>Offer a stable base for children to grow and thrive
</li>
<li>Help families rebuild their lives with dignity and hope
