<div>On<strong> July 4th, 2026</strong>, during a storm, a <strong>massive oak tree fell through</strong> their <strong>family home</strong>, destroying the living room, dining room, and most of the kitchen.

<div>The tree<strong> fell</strong> through the room <strong>where</strong> <strong>5 family members </strong>(Mom, Dad &amp; 3 young kids) <strong>were relaxing</strong>.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>With God's Protection</strong>,<strong> not one</strong> person had any <strong>serious injuries</strong>, only a few bruises and scratches.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Mr. Norman Gaither and his wife, Janice,</strong> have lived in their home for nearly<strong> 33 Years.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their <strong>daughter, Loren, and son-in-law Justin Barker, with their 3 children</strong>: Ava (9), Caden (6), and Easton (2) <strong>also lived in the home</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Norman</strong> is a <strong>proud Veteran with 39+ years of service</strong>. Norman and Justin work outside of the home. Jan and Loren are both homemakers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mr. and Mrs. Gaither<strong> thankfully have homeowners' insurance</strong> that will cover tree removal costs as well as the major repairs of their family home.
</div>

</div>
<div>What they need<strong> help</strong> with goes <strong>beyond repairs</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Loren <strong>homeschooled</strong> her eldest 2 children <strong>in the room the tree destroyed</strong>.
</div>

</div>
<div>As a result of the tree falling through the house, <strong>the family lost several items,</strong> including <strong>furniture, kitchenware, some homeschool materials (including curriculum</strong>), and several other household items.

</div>
<div>The <strong>families </strong>are also <strong>displaced until repairs are completed</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>They are thankful that God saw fit to protect their family from harm and to only have lost things that can be replaced. </strong>
</div>

<div>The family <strong>appreciates</strong> any contributions and <strong>asks for thoughts and prayers</strong> as they start to <strong>rebuild their lives</strong>.

<div>"On 02 July 1980, I reported at Lackland AFB, Texas, for Active Duty with the US Air Force. I was assigned to the 3703rd BMTS, Flt 006. I had the privilege to serve 12 years, 5 months, and 29 days with the USAF. Left AD and joined the Tenn. Army National Guard for another 8+ years and then transferred to the Tenn. Air National Guard for 17+ years. It was an amazing life experience to get 39+ years of Service. I met a lotta great American Patriots and saw many places in the States and a deployment to the Persian Gulf region. I was able to return the Support given to my fellow Airmen and myself through this opportunity to post the US Flag during the National Anthem at a Trion HS football game in August 2017. God Bless America!!"
