<div>Help Reopen Yuk Yuk &amp; Joe’s—A True Eastern Shore Treasure!
</div>
<div>For 25 years, Yuk Yuk &amp; Joe's has been more than just a restaurant and bar—it's been a home away from home for farmers, watermen, and locals looking for a friendly face, fresh seafood, and the best happy hour near Cape Charles. Whether you’re a proud "From-here" or a welcomed "Come-here," chances are you've shared laughter, stories, and a great meal at Yuk’s.
</div>
<div>Now, this beloved Eastern Shore icon needs your help.
</div>
<div>Due to necessary infrastructure upgrades, Yuk Yuk &amp; Joe’s is facing a costly replacement of its commercial-grade septic and drainfield system—a burden too steep to bear alone. Without this essential fix, our doors remain closed, and our community loses a cornerstone of good food, great company, and lasting memories.
</div>
<div>We’re calling on friends, neighbors, and longtime fans to help us raise funds to reopen. Every dollar brings us closer to firing up the kitchen, pouring cold drinks, and bringing back the unmistakable atmosphere that makes Yuk Yuk &amp; Joe’s one of Coastal Virginia’s 25 hidden gems.
</div>
<div>How You Can Help:
</div>
<div>•	Donate what you can—every contribution makes a difference.
</div>
<div>•	Share this campaign with fellow Yuk’s lovers!
</div>
<div>•	Stop by when we reopen and let’s celebrate together!
</div>
<div>Yuk’s has always been about community, and now we need our community’s support to keep the tradition alive. Let’s make sure the Eastern Shore keeps its hidden gem shining for years to come!
</div>
<div>Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to welcome you back soon!
</div>
<div>All funds will be given to Kathleen Peirson, owner and manager of YukYukandjoe's, and in turn given to Boggs Water and Sewage to complete the necessary repairs.
</div>
<div>This fundraiser was set up by Helene Doughty, patron and friend of the restaurant YukYukandJoe's.
