Rebuild for the Richman's

A tragedy struck our family in Israel and we are appealing to you for help. On May 23, 2019, a forest fire burned down the village of Moshav Mevo Modiim in central Israel. 

The majority of Daniel's family were still living on the Moshav during the fire, including his parents, two single brothers, two brothers with families including seven young children, and his youngest sister planning her wedding just next week. This is Daniel's childhood home, the place where we got married, where our son's Brit and Bar Mitzvah occurred, and where countless memories were made. 

With the grace of G-d, no one was injured in this disaster. Yet, in just the Richman family alone, 5 homes were lost to the fire and 21 of our family members are left with nothing. Cars, clothes, pictures, family heirlooms, and every material item owned is now gone, including the wedding dress meant to be worn in June.

This is absolutely devastating. We need to help our family in Israel rebuild their lives by building homes and acquiring all of life's necessities.  Nearby communities are housing people temporarily and are donating odds and ends, which is amazing in the short term. But, it is unknown to what degree the government will provide assistance and it is clear that these families will need financial help to start all over.
