On the evening of December 15th 2024, tragedy struck my family when my grandpa, aunt, and her two children lost their home to a devastating fire. As they were relaxing in the living room, their lives were turned upside down in an instant as an electrical fault caused a fire to start.

Thankfully, everyone escaped unharmed, but they lost everything they owned—leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Right now, they are staying with relatives, but the situation isn’t ideal. The house is far from my aunt’s workplace, making her daily commute challenging, and it’s only a temporary solution. We are hoping to raise funds to provide them with an appropriate place to stay and, if possible, begin rebuilding their home.

Renting in Ghana is costly, especially in the long term, so your contributions will go directly toward securing temporary housing and laying the foundation for a permanent home. Every little bit counts, and your generosity will make a tremendous difference in helping them get back on their feet.
