Rebuilding a family's home

Hurricane Harvey left a path of destruction the SE Texas has never seen before. While we were part of the few that were lucky and attained no damages Chris's childhood home sits in 3+ feet of water. My name is Denise Liebl and we live in Houston, Tx.
There are no words that I can use to convey the hurt and the heartbreak I feel in the loss that the woman who in the course of 11 years has become like a second mother to me. A woman who raised the man who I am blessed to call my husband and my best friend. A woman who's family has accepted mine into hers and been key to help build memories for us to hold dear. Christmas's, New Year's, Easter, or just a day to stop by and say hi, all within my mother in laws home.
If I had known the last time we were there would be the last time I would see it in all its original glory I would have taken longer to truly take it all in. I would have really looked at the story the original hard wood floors told. I would have spiritually embraced the love that the home holds.
If you have taken the time to read my entry I am asking that you donate what you can to help us give back to an amazing woman who deserves every ounce of goodness this world has to offer one person. She lost everything, but she has not lost the love and support of her family. Please share this and pass this around and help us to rebuild her home.
All proceeds will be used to make the needed rebuilding my mother in laws home from the studs up. Namely the rewiring of her house. All funds will be deposited to a savings account and held and disbursed as needed in the course of the rebuilding. I will post pictures as updates as we move forward through here and Facebook.
