My name is Anna Seabolt and I help facilitate an exciting elective at Latitude High School called the Container Project. Over the last year, many different students have come together to turn 3 small shipping containers into a recording studio, cafe and art gallery.

We were getting close to having fully functional spaces, but unfortunately early in the morning on Friday, February 28, three individuals broke into the recording studio container and stole most of our recording equipment and many of the instruments. We lost an iMac desktop computer, a guitar amplifier, two high quality studio microphones, a professional grade audio interface and three guitars (one of which was handmade by a local high school student). The total loss of these items is about $1400; the feelings of frustration and sadness about this are also extremely taxing.
