Rebuild Southwark Mediation Centre

Southwark Mediation Centre is an award-winning charity, one of the oldest mediation services in the country and works with the community, families and individuals to resolve conflict situations for all involved.

Our aim is to create stronger communities, workplaces and learning institutions. This can be dealing with anything from:
• anti-social behaviour
• bullying and harassment
• conflict during divorce
• hate crimes
• residential disputes
• restorative justice
• toxic relationships
• workplace mediation.


In December 2018 our office was hit by a car and rendered uninhabitable and we are currently in a temporary facility. The insurance has finally come back and advised us that they will only cover a small proportion of the cost involved to rebuild our space.

You Can Make A Difference

We must raise £23,000 by April 2020 to reconstruct our offices, improve our mediation space and replace affected technology and office equipment.

It is essential that our clients, often vulnerable, feel safe and at ease when they visit and use our mediation services. Your generosity will help to ensure that everyone who requires our service, will not only continue to benefit from the work our staff, volunteers and mediators do, but that we can rebuild and improve our centre.

Your donation will ensure we can resolve matters amicably before they escalate, and any harm can be caused to individuals, families, workspace, communities and life.
