Tragically, Rose's apartment caught fire while she was out of the country. Her beloved cats, Razzy and Rhi Rhi, as well as her turtle, Earl, did not survive the fire. While nothing can bring them back, Rose also faces several costs as she rebuilds her life. She needs support to help replace her damaged belongings and pay for the damage not fully covered by her insurance.

**Update:** *Rose's building has been condemned, and no one is currently allowed to retrieve any belongings. Unfortunately, even the items that survived the fire have significant smoke damage, limiting what can be salvaged. Given these new challenges, we've increased the fundraising goal to better reflect the full scope of Rose's costs. Please continue sharing the GoFundMe link with her friends and loved ones. Every bit of support helps. And don’t forget to hug your pets.*
