Rebuild Providencia Isla after Iota - Lighthouse

On November 16th Isla de Providencia, a 20km² island in the middle of the caribbean sea, was hit by category 5 hurricane Iota. As a result 98% of all infrastructure is destroyed and the community is isolated, without access to communication and first necessity goods. 

Olmo’s father and his family had built, during many years, a foundation to promote art, culture and cinema in the island. Unfortunately all this was destroyed by the hurricane and he, like everybody else in the island, lost everything. For this reason we want to help in the most direct way we can by physically going there to rebuild! To do so, we are launching a nonprofit crowdfunding, starting now. 

With our hands and your donations we wish to give new hope to this creole caribbean culture oasis of fishermen and farmers. 

At this moment it's not clear what the exact situation is, but we expect to spend your donations exclusively for rebuilding purposes. We will make sure to keep you updated with a clear report of what is being done with the funds.
