<div>My name is Chad Schoenauer, owner and operater of the Old Fort Bike Shop in Old Fort, North Carolina. After 3 years of business, Hurricane Helene has hit the reset button.
</div>
<div>On September 27th, 2024,
</div>
<div>3 feet of water and 8 inches of mud filled the shop. Now, I'm starting over.
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>The entire town of Old Fort has seen loss and destruction that has changed everything forever.
</div>
<div>And now, it is time to rebuild, together.
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am raising funds to:
</div>
<div>replace tools,
</div>
<div>replace computers and business equipment,
</div>
<div>and replace supplies and fixtures. Funds will also be used to pay the bills as the building repairs are completed.
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>With the encouragement of my clients and friends, I have started this GoFundMe. The outpouring of help and support from everyone near and far has been incredible. The way that our community has lifted each other up is why I am committed to keeping my shop in Old Fort.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each contribution will reach far into the future of my business and the future of Old Fort.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every town needs a bike shop.
</div>

<div>With Humility and Gratitude,
</div>
