Rebuild Nepalese school-
Donation protected

I have been blessed to recently travel to Nepal and experienced an amazing voyage in the Himalayas. I met extraordinary people along the way in the Rolwaling region, which like many other areas have been heavely affected by the recent earthquake in 2015. Our Nepalese guide Purna Tamang and his partner Nima Sherpini created the sunrise Nima child care foundation in Kathmandu, an orphanage where they take care of Napalese orphans, that we visited at the end of our trip. During our trip, we camped on the top of this mountain (the photo shown here), where the school and the monastery have been destroyed during the earthquake. The photo was taken during the earthquake . (You can see the big grey cloud raising toward the sky on the photo). Purna, who never went to school has started a new project and his goal is to rebuild the school and the monastery for the children living in the villages nearby. That night, on the campement site, arrived another group of trekkers from the region of Savoie, France. They are Purna's long time friends and they gave him 3000 euros to help with this project and a typical Nepalese celebration of welcome and thankfulness followed this generous gesture. We still need more funds to start the construction. The site is located at 8000 feet and will require many trips to bring the building materiel. I promised my new friends Purna and Nirma that I will try to raise money for this beautiful project. I saw the location, we slept there and Purna shared his goals with me and I believe strongly that he will succeed. I hope to actively help and to take part in this project. I pray that together we can help some children from Nepal to continue to receive an education.
There are not such thing as a too small donation. We will be grateful with whatever amount you can contribute.
Many Nepalese have lost everything but some still say with a smile and utmost dignity:
"To lose everything is to not have anything left to lose ..."
What an optimistic lesson !

PS: I feel really Blessed to have reached my first goal of raising $1000. I strongly believe we can do more ! I will never forget the kindness of the Nepalese I met last November and how they never came out as victims of this terrible earthquake but instead they kept their heads straight forward with utmost dignity
Now that the project is taking form, I have started looking for a job to be able to pay my trip to Nepal in the fall.
Thank you ALL- I love you❤️
