Rebuild Nan and Paula After Harvey

Donna Parker and Judy Fields of Helotes, TX have chosen one family to support in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Nan and Paula are fellow women RVers in our Texas based RV club...they desperately need your help. This will be a MARATHON cleanup effort, not a sprint for just a few weekends. Here's why.
Nan and Paula live in the rural community of Rosharon, outside of Houston, Texas which has been decimated by the flooding caused from Hurricane Harvey. Nan and Paula's modest house sits approximately four miles from the Brazos River, which overflowed its banks and flooded surrounding properties. The Brazos river Rose 52.35 ft, almost 10.5 ft above pre-Harvey levels.
Everything you donate goes directly to Nan and Paula and will help them get the recovery process started…even just knowing that friends and strangers have offered to help them cleanup has brought them GREAT comfort.
Your donation will be used to purchase supplies and other equipment needed to "muck out" thier house: clean out mud and debris, tear out insulation and walls, pull up baseboards and floors, treat their water well to get it back to safe drinking water standards and other areas. Preventing and mediating mold is a major concern.
They need these items to get the cleanup work completed: Consan® Triple Action 20, potable drinking water, vinegar, spray antibacterial disinfectants, sponges, scrub brushes, surgery booties (XL). gloves (XL), buckets, mops, laundry soap, step ladders, stools, and Duct Tape.
Nan and Paula have NO HOME INSURANCE! They just couldn't afford this after the huge expense of rebuilding after the 2016 flood. FEMA paid only $212; Red Cross provided $400. Your donations are really appreciated, now more than ever.
Several “work-days” are scheduled so volunteers can assist in the tear-down and clean-up. Updates and more info will be posted at the "Updates" tab and via email.
