Rebuild Southside Minority Owned Pawn Shop

After this weekend's events, my uncle's pawn shop, Big Money Pawn, in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood, was vandalized and completely looted on Sunday afternoon. The looters took everything in the store as shown in the photo. He contacted insurance and was informed that his coverage will only cover the damage to the building but will not cover the thousands of dollars of goods stolen. 

Our family wanted to come together to try to raise some money to make my uncle and his family's lives a little easier through this hard time. My uncle is a Cuban-American and has three children.  Despite his hardships, he is an active businessman in the Back of the Yards community and is dedicated to serving minority communities all over the city.
