Rebuild Lake Station Missionary Baptist Church

Dear Community and Friends,

With humble hearts, Lake Station Missionary Baptist Church (LSMBC) is asking for your assistance to save our church sanctuary. God has allowed us to worship in His house for 150+ years, and we need your prayers and support to restore the Lord’s house back to its rightful condition. The Bible says, “Ask and it shall be given, knock and the door shall be opened and we have not, because we ask not” Matthew 7:7.

Presently we are unable to hold worship services in our sanctuary or fellowship hall. With demolition and restoration underway; pews and church furnishings are being stored in the fellowship hall to avoid creating additional cost for storage. The pictures include the first phase of construction which is mandatory to support what is needed to prevent continued damage to the walls and ceilings. The next phase will include removing the roof and all framing above the sanctuary, sheet rock and insulation on the walls, debris removal, reframing sanctuary roof, straightening the walls, salvaging exterior bricks from falling, engineer beams and install shingle roof into the existing roof, removing AC ducts and all electrical materials as needed.
