Rebuild Gunina Houses PNG

My mothers village is Hanuabada, Port Moresby, PNG. Our clan is Gunina. Our family houses run out from the coast over jetty's for family clans that are all on stilts over the ocean.
2 days ago from a tragic accident 14 houses in our Gunina clan were completely burnt down. Fire services got there, only to the realisation there was no water from the town as they had shut it off.
Some of these houses, like my bubu's (grandmother) have been there since WWII. These houses unlike Australia have the entire family in there. Grandparents, Aunty's and Uncles, their children. Its a house of family dwellling and custom. These houses hold memories, blood, sweat, tears and history with customs that are rich and vibrant.
The photos are heart breaking and I am sad for my family. They now have to rebuild which they will do with strong spirit.
I am fundraising in memory and on behalf of my mother Kaia Uduru Kearney's family, so I can send the money up to help buy building supplies and ease the sadness and worry.
