Rebuild fund for Nell Pedzik - Wild Paws Wildlife

In the early hours of Thursday 23 September, 2021 a tragic situation unfolded.

 

A house fire completely engulfed the house at Wild Paws Wildlife Shelter in Monbulk, Victoria, Australia.

 

Nell Pedzik - the founder and sole carer at the shelter - tried desperately to evacuate the countless animals who were inside, including her 2 beloved dog companions; Tofu and Mem.

 

Sadly the fire was too ferocious, and all of the animals inside perished. Nell was taken by ambulance to hospital and was lucky to have survived.

Physically, Nell has recovered, but the emotional and mental scars will no doubt remain with her for life.

 

Those who know Nell will attest to what an amazing human being she is. She is so selfless and caring. She has dedicated her life to helping animals, starting her wildlife shelter as soon as she left high school.

 

As someone who has always helped others, Nell struggles to ask for and accept help.

 

It’s time for us to get behind Nell.

 

Nell is someone who is always there for others, and now she needs us to be there for her so so that she can rebuild her life; however she chooses to do that.

 

What Nell has endured is incomprehensible. No amount of money can erase what has happened, nor can it bring back those who she has lost, but with some financial aid we help Nell can move forward.
