Help Rebuild Equus PR after Maria

We are dismayed and overwhelmed by the disastrous situation all around us in Puerto Rico. Our center is destroyed. Hurricane Maria hit us really hard. Thankfully our horses survived the terrible storm...but we need your help!
We are so uncertain about the future. Only with your donations at this time, can The Equus Center have a chance to get back on the saddle.
For starters, a massive clean up needs to be made, since there's debris all over the premises. We also need to rebuild the stables to provide a safe and dry place for our horses. Next, we must ensure the horses receive veterinary care and proper nutrition. And, finally, we also need to restore the roof on the outdoor arena that we use for therapeutic equine-assisted sessions and activities. These are our immediate priorities for allowing us to open our doors once again.
Our sources of income at this moment are nonexistent, since our center is closed. Dr. Edmundo Jimenez, founder and director of The Equus Center, has been personally affected by this emergency. Dr. Jimenez has always been able to financially support the center, in addition to private sponsorships and service proposals. All these income streams have dried up. There is no way to get the center up and running, other than the donations we may receive from you here.

We are hopeful that your heart will be moved to help us help others. We are committed and motivated to continue this labor of love, partnering with our wonderful horses in restoring wellbeing to all who come through our gates.
