<div>Hello, I am Claudia, my family and members of my community have been severely impacted by the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
</div>
<div>Hurricane Melissa ravaged Jamaica’s southwest and my community is one of the affected areas. People including my family members are in dire need of help and support. The immediate needs include: proper housing ( structural damages including re-roofing needed), access to potable water, food, and basic necessities. The damage has been significant, with flooding being a major problem. Most of the residents including my family members have lost everything including their farms, livestock, poultry etc. they have nothing left except for life. While the primary focus is to provide housing, food and water for members of my family that have been dislocated. I am also committed to providing supplies to other members of the community as well. I have included some pictures of the devastation and great loss. It will take a lot for folks to recover given such a great loss by right now, let’s start by giving them hope, food and shelter.
