The Tyler Youth Group, Inc., a 501 (C) (3) organization established in 1987 to develop and implement programs/activities for youth and families has been an integral part of our community for over twenty-five years as a grassroots organization. We are now “Moving Forward” with sustainability for the next
twenty-five years and beyond.
Mrs. Dorothy Tyler with her husband, Elias (deceased in 2004 at the age of 82) founded The Tyler Youth Group, Inc. which began in 1983 as The Tylerette Marching Drill Corps. The both of them were WWII veterans. We are proud to share that The Tyler Youth /Group’s co-founder, Mrs. Dorothy Tyler, age 96 is still active in her community and church.
The Tyler Youth Group, Inc. is “Moving Forward” and we are inviting you to join us in this endeavor. The Aliquippa Tyler Community Youth Center will continue to provide ‘Youth Programs/Activities’. With the ‘Go Fund Me’ funds, we will begin a Capital Campaign’ for building renovations and expansion.
We are expanding our services to the youth and families of Western Pennsylvania through the Tyler Resource Center. Our new endeavor will develop and implement initiatives through collaboration/ partnership with faith-based and community-based organizations, educational institutions, political entities, and human service agencies.
We are building for the future for our youth and families.
