<div>When Typhoon Tino struck <strong>Canlaon City, Negros Oriental</strong>, floodwaters rose without warning as the nearby river overflowed. Jasper (27), his partner Pelyn (28), and their two young children, aged 7 and 1, were inside their home when the water came rushing in. They barely made it out in time, finding safety at a neighbour’s house as the flood destroyed everything in its path.

</div>

<div>When the waters finally subsided, <strong>their home was gone.</strong> Only a small slab of concrete was left — everything else had been washed away.

</div>

<div>I'm raising funds to <strong>help Jasper and his family rebuild their home</strong> and replace essentials. Your donations will go towards <strong>housing materials</strong> such as roofing sheets, wood, nails, cement, and basic household needs.

</div>

<div>While most media coverage has focused on Cebu, many families in remote communities like Canlaon are still struggling silently to recover. <strong>Let’s not forget them.</strong>

</div>

<div>This fundraiser is led by Kathrine Yee, a dear friend and former colleague whose family is originally from Negros. Kathrine is on the ground in Canlaon, helping coordinate relief efforts and ensuring the funds reach Jasper's family directly.

</div>

<div>In the Philippines, we’ve learned to live with supertyphoons and natural disasters. But no matter how often they come, it always hurts when it hits close to home. Jasper’s one-year-old son is Kathrine's godchild, making this cause deeply personal for her.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After the typhoon hit, Kathrine's initial fundraiser provided food, water, and medicines to 500 families. Now, we want to continue that mission by helping one family restore what was lost.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With just <strong>₱500 (~$14 AUD / $9 USD)</strong>, you can help provide a roofing sheet that brings them closer to having a safe home again.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every contribution, no matter how small, will help <strong>give Jasper’s family a chance to start again</strong>.

</div>

</div>

<div>Thank you for your kindness and support.
