Hi everyone! As you all know, on October 28, 2012 Hurricane Sandy devastated several NY/NJ coastal communities, including Breezy Point, N.Y. I've decided to start this gofundme.com site to help support my brother and his wife, Tim & Laurie, in their efforts to rebuild their home, and the homes of several of their brothers and sisters, that were severely damaged in the floods that ensued during the Hurricane. Some families had flood insurance, many did not. I am hoping to raise enough money to help Tim & Laurie (and hopefully more!!) rebuild their home and Breezy Point to the way they've always known it. Any donation, no matter the denomination, is truly appreciated!
Donating time or supplies is also appreciated. Just come on down to Breezy Point on any weekend and we will put you to work.
Finally, if you know of any contractors who can help with the rebuilding process, i.e. general construction, plumbers, electricians, engineers, architects or D.O.B. expediters, please pass their names along as it may be difficult to find available skilled workers to rebuild at this time.
