This tragedy is something no one could have prepared for, and it’s heartbreaking to know that so many other families are going through the same unimaginable loss.

Everything else—childhood memories, family photos, treasured belongings—has been completely lost. They now have no place to go except to stay with us in our small two-bedroom home. This means 11 people under one roof, which we are grateful to provide temporarily, but it is far from sustainable.
