<div>My brother-in-law Nick, his partner Peggy, and their son Louis live in France. On Friday, 21 November they experienced a tragedy no family should ever have to endure. Their home was completely destroyed in a sudden and devastating fire. Within minutes, everything they worked for, everything they cherished, and everything that made their house a home was gone.

<div>They escaped with their lives—something we are endlessly grateful for—but they lost absolutely everything else: clothes, furniture, important documents, family memories, and the everyday essentials we all take for granted.

<div>Nick and Peggy are now facing the overwhelming reality of having to start again from zero. With Christmas approaching and a long road of recovery ahead, they urgently need support to secure temporary housing, replace essentials, and begin rebuilding their lives.
