On the evening of December 15, 2016, my sister Robin and her son Jake were out driving around looking at Christmas Lights. She received a call from a neighbor who reported that flames were shooting out of a bedroom window. Fortunately, no one was inside the house at the time, including their dog, Joey.
By the time the fire department was able to extinguish the fire, all of their personal possessions, appliances, Christmas gifts, and furnishings had been consumed by the fire. As you can imagine, this is a tragedy for any family to endure, even more so during the Christmas season.
Now they must rebuild their lives from the ground up (literally); I'm asking you to open your hearts and help provide them with some of their immediate needs, such as food, clothing, toiletries, etc. I appreciate anything you can provide and would like to wish your families a safe and happy Holiday Season.
