Rebel's Eye Tumor Surgery

On February 19th, Rebel went in for an eye exam. During this exam, a melanocytoma was found in her right eye.
A melanocytoma is a tumor of pigmented cells and these tumors can continue to progress to involve deeper areas of the eye and can result in damage to the eye.
It was recommended that Rebel have surgery to remove the mass and her eye will also require grafting to stabilize the globe.
The surgery was scheduled for March 20th, and is estimated to cost $2,108.47 (low end) to $2,533.17 (high end).
Rebel is a 5 year old, certified search and rescue canine with several confirmed finds. Rebel and her handler, Katelyn are volunteers and commit their time and money in order to help find the missing in the State of Minnesota. They would appreciate your support so Rebel can return to the field as quickly as possible!
