Rebellion Trip To Orlando

Max Jordan and I (Clay Francis) started our journey of being the "section leaders" for Franklin High School at the end of our junior year and immediately began preparing for our senior year. We knew sports have always been a big deal at Franklin but we decided we wanted to take it to the next level.
Our plan to take The Rebellion to the next level included:
- Having meetings over the summer to prepare for the upcoming year
- Creating Group Mes (messaging app) for each grade to help communication and unification
- Showing up to all of the sporting events and all sports (football, volleyball, girls & boys soccer, girls & boys basketball, baseball, girls lacrosse, etc.)
- Giving respect to all grades (including Freshmen)
- Buying a speaker to have in the hallways to carry on the "game day" vibe
- Creating T-shirts to sell to students to wear to the games
- Meeting together with our teacher sponsor to plan out pep rallys
- Creating hype videos to get students excited for the games
- Getting EVERYONE to travel to all games even the far games
- Make Franklin the toughest place to play for various sports in the state
We feel as though we did everything in our power to take The Rebellion to the next level.
We started getting recognized for our spirit across the state. This attention sparked one of our cheerleading coaches to enter The Rebellion into a competition with schools across the nation called "Most Outstanding Student Section Award" sponsored by Varsity Brands.
We got an email last Friday letting us know that we are one of five finalists from across the nation (Kentucky, Texas, Pennsylvania, California) and that we are invited to an awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida. During the three day event they will be announcing the winner of the award. This is where you play into this. It costs $2500 altogether to go to Orlando and back. We need funding to make this trip of a lifetime happen. Any donation would make a difference.
