Dear friends and family,
As some of you may know, my mother, Rebecca Walderon and my stepfather, Bj Johnson were in a severe motorcycle accident on September 15th, 2018. Due to the accident, this ultimately resulted in the passing of our beloved Bj Johnson. We are deeply saddened at the fact that he can no longer be with us, but we do ask for everyone to please continue to pray for him and our family during this difficult time. However, my mom, Rebecca, mercifully survived the crash. Following the accident, my mom was immediately airlifted to the ICU Head Trauma Unit at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
She is still unconscious and has had little to no response to the exams given by Mayo’s physicians. Rebecca’s injuries include: Subdural Hematoma, Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Severe Spinal Fractures (6th & 7th Cervical), Rib Fractures, Two Ankle Fractures, multiple Facial Fractures, immense amounts of pressure in her brain, and still a large possibility of more injuries doctors are not yet aware of. As made obvious, she is currently in a very rough state, but that doesn’t mean she won’t get through it!
Everyone that knows Rebecca knows that she is one tough cookie, and nonetheless a FIGHTER! So far all she has done is fight, fight, fight. Although she is doing everything she can on her end of the situation, we are seeking help from our friends, family and community. Donations from our GoFundMe will go towards all financial costs that have come from BJ and Rebecca’s accident, specifically medical bills. We are going to do our best as her friends, family, and community to make things go as smoothly while she’s away as they did when she running them. Any donations, small or large, will go towards the bigger picture- bringing my mom home safely and in good health.
We want to give a final thank you to all our friends, family and people within the community that have gone the extra mile to make sure Rebecca and her family are in good hands. We cannot express enough how much we appreciate all of the prayers, love and continual words of hope. Thank you everyone once again, from the bottom of our hearts.
