Hello, my name is Adina, I am a single mother, I have two daughters Rebecca (13) and Handra ( 20). Rebecca is fun, loving and energetic thirteen-year-old with a passion for dance (since she was one), love of friends and life. We leave in Syracuse, Italy.
About 18 months ago, I noticed Rebecca's spine was slightly deformed so I took her to the doctor. After a few tests, she was diagnosed with 54 degrees scoliosis and the doctor recommended to wear a corset. It took 6 months until we were able to purchase one and her situation has aggravated. Now her scoliosis is at 85 degrees. We completed more tests in Italy and Romania and the doctors decided that she needs corrective surgery immediately to prevent additional damage (like difficulty breathing). This would involve 10 hours, 25 screws and a full medical staff that would cost 20,000.00 EUR.
In addition to this condition, Rebecca has been leaving with Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome which is an extra electrical pathway between her heart's upper and lower chambers causes a rapid heartbeat. The extra pathway is present at birth and fairly rare.
Rebecca is a strong child that is willing to fight and beat all odds for the chance to dance and play again with her friends.
For the operation, I was able to save about 10,000. EUR and am hoping you could help me raise the rest to be able to give her the chance to dance again.
