Rebecca Antley's Family Funds

Rebecca was many things to many people, an amazing mother, a perfect daughter, a loving sister, a spectacular aunt, a family member to many, and a friend. However friend is a understatement. She loved everybody full heartedly. Anything she did, she did with so much passion. She was a hard worker, who cared about every aspect of her work. Rebecca recently joined the National Guard. Her entire family, and everybody who knew her was more than proud of her accomplishments. She devoted so much time to everybody she knew.

Rebecca loved her babies more than anything in this world. As some of you may know she was 10 weeks pregnant with her 3rd child. Rebecca and her boyfriend Billy Durrah were sure they were having a boy. His name is Harrison Mark Antley Durrah. They were more than excited to expand their family, and had so many plans for the future. This pregnancy was very hard on her, and for somebody as tough as her it took a toll on her. Everybody could see her pain.

Rebecca wasn’t feeling well this week. But nobody including her realized just how bad things were about to get. Wednesday night (8.9.17) she went to bed in a lot of pain, at 5:30am Rebecca and her sister had a conversation about her first baby appointment later on that day. At 7:30 am she was found unresponsive in bed, by 8:25am she was in Wheeling Hospital. After many misdiagnoses we were finally informed that it was a Pulmonary Embolism. Multiple blood clots had formed in her legs, and had moved up into her lungs, and heart. At this point the right side of her heart failed. She then had emergency surgery for artificial lungs and heart. After this things were not improving, and she was life flighted to Allegheny General Hospital In Pittsburgh, PA aroung 3:00pm. Once there, the sedatives needed to wear off to see if she would wake up, or show signs of improving. The sedatives wore off and she showed no signs of improvement. By the next day her kidneys started to fail. On Saturday we received more bad news of her failing all tests to look for any positive signs. Rebecca has always been one of the most generous people to have walked this earth. She continues to show that as she was an organ donor.

It’s not easy to ask for help and especially to ask for money. There has been many times we have seen Becca struggle instead of asking for help. We want to be able to give Zoey and Max everything they need in these hard times. We want to give Becca the best memorial service possible. There has been a lot of unexpected expenses recently.

Any donation, in any form is greatly appreciated. We understand if you are not able to help financially. A prayer is just as greatly appreciated.

Rest in Peace our sweet angel, fly high Rebecca.
