Rebecca's rehabilitation

Donation protected
As many people are aware, our dear friend Rebecca had a life threatening stroke due to a torn artery in her neck which resulted in bleeding on the brain. This left her in a critical condition for many days where we thought we would lose her. Rebecca lost all use of her arm leg and voice. She has since being attending physio and speech therapy daily while still in hospital. Her progression and determination is amazing, which has resulted in Rebecca regaining her speech slowly and slight use of her leg, although still unable to use her arm. Rebecca has been in hospital for 4weeks now and the family has been battling with the housing in order to find Rebecca suitable housing. Rebecca is a single mother to three beautiful children. Her current housing is an upstairs 2bedroom flat which is unsuitable. We have managed to reserve a 3bedroom house close to her mum Annette who will continue to care for Rebecca once she has come home.
In order for Rebecca to come home we need to make the house adaptable for her to be able to move around the house comfortably as she will remain in a wheel chair for quite some time.  We are going to need  more suitable furniture that can aid Rebecca while still recovering. The house also needs to be decorated and carpeted throughout. We hope to have the house ready for Rebecca to return home with her children ASAP. As a community I know Radcliffe pull together when people are in times of need... With it being so close to Christmas I know peoples funds are tight but if you could spare anything in order to help get Rebecca home in time for Christmas with her children instead of hospital it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading Leanne.
