<div>Minerva's by the Sea was conceived as Emma's mission--to offer a luscious vacation , with a <strong>nurturing venue, and nourishing meals,</strong> to celebrate and <strong>thank people of modest means who do America's community work: teachers, and first-responders, and truck drivers and parents, small business owners and pediatricians and artists and story-tellers, nurses and military service people, and other community-minded people, like one of our teenage guests who cut off her long hair to donate to cancer survivors.</strong>
</div>
<div>Covid, and all its associated medical, social, and economic confusion, forced us to close, and sell our wonderful building in 2020. We have spent the past few months getting <strong> Minerva's Wellness Center repositioned as a NON-PROFIT</strong>-- <strong>so now your contribution can be tax-deductible!</strong>
</div>
<div>Many of our long-time guests have been in touch to see what's our next step! We have our eye on a lot in the low-keyed peacefulness of Barnegat Light, where we aim to build a "covid-resistant" venue, with conscious attention to ventilation, air-handling, and other protective measures.
