Re-Awakening Life's Purpose

Jorge was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in the Spring of 2015.  As a personal trainer, health coach, and wellness guru it was  difficult to understand how this could happen to him.  After two years of treatments, and his last recurrence in 2016 which was very challenging, the cancer has returned as metastatic lesions in his pelvis bone.  Traditional treatment is no longer viable.  He went through normal channels locally in Grand Rapids, MI as well as Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago, IL.  The response from both Oncologists was the same, meaning no new clear treatment is available.  Since this news from the doctors, he has designed his own naturopathic protocol including and exploring different rigorous metabolic approaches and diet to fight cancer.  Additionally it has lead me on a quest to investigate and research other non-traditional and integrative cancer therapies.  We were fortunate to discover Envita  Clinic located in Arizona (Envita.com).  We traveled there December 11th  for a comprehensive two day consultation and testing to determine more precisely the nature of HIS SPECIFIC ROOT CAUSE of his specific cancer.  The experience with the physicians and staff has provided us with GREAT HOPE for his future, but these tests were not covered by insurance because they are not approved as part of a regular cancer treatment protocol as established by the FDA.  This is Jorge's last chance to once again battle through his circumstances.  One year ago, my husband was given three months to live due to his first tumor recurrence.  He chose to battle on and is here today one year later, due to his lifestyle and positive attitude.  Now Jorge is faced once again with these circumstances.  Once again, the choice is to battle.  Our first goal is to raise enough money to pay for the initial testing that was just completed and the start of recommended treatment to begin the first of the year.  There is no provision for living accommodations at the facility in Arizona.  Patients must seek their own travel, place to stay (apartment, rental home, etc),meals, and daily transportation back and forth to the clinic.
