Reason to Run - Houston Pets Alive!

I started my running journey 16 months ago with the goal to live a healthier lifestyle. In doing so I slowly started to see improvement and began to push myself further. After completing my first 10k I decided to go for a half marathon. To celebrate accomplishing my goal I decided to make this journey extra special by supporting a charity near to my heart.  

I'm raising money to benefit Houston Pets Alive, and any donation will help make an impact. HPA!’s mission is to rescue animals most at risk of euthanasia, reduce the number of unwanted animals, and find the animals forever families. They act as a safety net for municipal shelters, to save the animals who have no other options. Every day they receive a list of animals who are at risk of euthanasia. They save as many animals as they can, between space in their shelter and in foster homes. 

My goal is to raise $100 for every mile I run in my upcoming race on April 26th in Waco, Tx. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
