Reaghstown Playground

Reaghstown Playground Development have recently secured funding from Louth County Council under the Town and Village Renewal Fund to install a Children's Playground in the village of Reaghstown. The Playground will be situated on the old Tennis Court of the Westerns GFC grounds, which they have kindly donated to this development.

The new Playground will provide a much needed facility for families within the community to bring their young Children to develop their social and learning skills and also give their Parents/Grandparents and opportunity to meet new people in the Parish

In order to complete this exciting project, we need to raise funds to provide a safe, secure space for all those who wish to use it. The funding raised will go towards fencing, gates, ramps, vision mirror, signage and seating in the Playground and Picnic area. We have secured a specialist contractor to install the Playground equipment and we hope to open the facility in April 2017.

The Playground Committee would be grateful for your donation, however big or small, towards the project that will benefit the children of the Parish for generations to come.
